What a wonderful plugin. Thanks.

Question: How do allow for the play bar to disappear once video is playing (and show up when user hovers over video).

This is the default of the non-Wordpress plugin version of Flowplayer and would like that ability.

Hi just a note,
my flowplayer install stopped working apart from the settings page. Script was still in page source etc but just not playing. Eventually found the cause was a Javascript compressor plugin that I had installed to reduce page load times.

Once I excluded compressing the flowplayer js file it worked fine.

bit of a gotcha!

I am not having any luck. When I try to make a post it just shows [FLOWPLAYER=media.flv,600,450]. It’s like it is not even detecting the plugin. I’ve tried posting the code in Visual mode and html mode. I unzipped the folder and uploaded it to my plugins file, activated it in WP and created the /videos folder. I have tried both the short url mymovie.flv and full URL to flv file and nothing is working.

@simon 3.1.x adn 3.2.x flowplayer licenses are incompatible I am working with the flowplayer dev’s to get the new version rolled in.

@justin any chance of providing that in a diff format? I wil get it rolled into the next release.

@jesse no this will not work with iPhone as this is a flash based player h.264 is a media encoding type, you would need to detect the users browser type and serve the h.264 media directly if they were using an iPhone

@james if you provide a diff file I can get your changes rolled into the next release.

I purchased the commercial version of Flowplayer, entered my Commercial License Key into the plugin – doesn’t work! The Flowplayer logo is still there!

Any ideas on how to make it disappear?

Nevermind, I figured it out. If anyone else has the same problem here’s what I did. Open \wp-content\plugins\word-press-flow-player\classes\flowplayer.class.php

Search for
