I tried getting your hidden email, but when I submit the words, it says here’s the email address, but there is none on display. Anyway, I would like to know if you are interested in changes I made to your plugin. I updated it so that it can display a scrollable list of videos. I have it working locally right now, but since you wrote the bulk of it, I’d rather hand it over to you to support if you are interested.
Hi David. We’re using your wordpress flowplayer plugin. I found a small bug with it and have added a minor feature. If you’re interested, let me know and I can send your way. Great work. Thanks. Erik
Great ! Worked very well the plugin installation… Till one specific single point.
May I suggest, that you should re-edit your instruction site about the installation. There it is said for using “internal links” to set up a directory on the webserver with the path “/public_html/wp-content/videos” (or in my case with sub-domain “/public_html/sub-domain-name/wp-content/videos”).
And then using the player by setting the code on any wordpress “page” or “posting” like “[FLOWPLAYER=media1.flv,600,450]. This path didn’t work, not at all… instead I set up a path like [FLOWPLAYER=/videos/media1.flv,600,450] which then links to the subdirectory path on the server “/public_html/sub-domain-name/videos/” Nothing happens, if I put the folder “videos” as subdirectory under “wp-content”.
Important as I found out, that hereby the wordpress page or posting name, e.g. in my case “video_database” (http://radioblog-test1.india-meets-classic.net/video_database/) is different from the folder name “videos”. Otherwise if you upload medias to such a directory, wordpress won’t show the page itself instead rout just to the directory you can see there the video files listed.
Might be little bit confusing your instructions for newbees… But at all it’s a great plugin ! – Thank’s for your work. Warm regards from LJ

P.S.: Just have an idea: Would it be possible to give the user a “click through” option, if there is programmed a playlist. So the user can decide on his/her own if he/she like to follow the queue by auto play or jump to the next or overnext video ? – Would be a good feature, I think… especially for users, who re-visit the site.

We are a china based Web development and design company with local government background (a well-known city named Wuxi in china). Recently we are building an online real-people comic portal site(By the government-sponsored).The purpose of this site is to accommodate a large number of images, video and Internet novel . But we are having problems with the video part. We don’t have much experience on building a massive video server.(i.e. how to set up this kinda sever? how to encoding the video on sever-side? how to manage the data? How to streaming video?etc.).Another problem is we don’t want to build the website like Youtube instead of some sort of mini vimeo. So i did a little research on the internet and finally i found an article about perfecting H.264 conversion on your blog .so we would like you to give us some suggestions about the issue. if you have the best solution for it, please write to us and tell us your experiences. We would love to hear from you. If everything goes good. we may offering you a part-time job or some payment as return at the beginning. However if the site goes big we may need you work for full-time in china(only you wish to come. hehe). Please considering this as a long-term coopration. Hopefully we have the opportunity to cooperation in the near future.
Is there any way to implement secure streaming with this plugin to hide the directory of where the our videos are hosted on our servers. The article I am referring to is http://flowplayer.org/plugins/streaming/secure.html.

Hi! This looks like a great plugin. When will it be ready for later WP versions? I am currently 2.8.5 so can’t use this.
Cheers!

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
Hi
I LOVE this Plugin – GREAT!
… my only Problem is, that i would like to make a so called pseudo – php – stream, and cant get it to work (based on xmoove).
How can one do this?
Will this plugin accept parameters the same way the non-wordpress version of Flowplayer does? For example, could I do what’s in this demo (http://flowplayer.org/demos/scripting/anchors.html)
Hi,
This is a FANTASTIC plugin, makes it everything so easy!
I have a couple of questions I couldn’t find answer to:
Is there a way to configure autoplay, and autobuffer on a video per video basis?
Also I’m looking for a way to have a \preview image\ on the video, like the regular flowplayer allows.
Thanks,
Emilio
Is there a way to add a splash image?
Thanks for crediting me where credit was due – I appreciate it.
Hi… does this code need to be in the plugin?
