    Hi Dave and thanks for the information regarding Lowell portfolio 1. Believe me it’s very much appreciated as I had a letter from these people this morning to do with a contract we cancelled way back in August 2005 and they’re saying we owe £295 which is not true So I’ll copy your template, if I may and send it to them.
    I’ve bookmarked your page and at Anytime you need advice on construction or swimming pools I’d be only to pleased to advise you. I’ve been in construction for over 35 yrs and a pool engineer since the 80′s

    Hi

    Was wonderin if you could help me. My partner go a letter from Lowell Portfolio ltd asking for £437, that was apparently passed on from their client. My partner owed Barclays bout £100 from 4 years ago and a letter was sent out a month ago to say that Santander was taking over barclays and they would like this £437 that he owes them. Then we got a letter from Lowell Portfolio Ltd saying they have been asked by their client to collect this debt. My partner talked to them on the phone and he asked them what they actually do and asked them to send some kind of confirmation to make sure they’re not scammers but they wouldnt give any information saying it was confidential. We have already agreed to pay £394 by 28 june 09 as he gave us discount if we payed within a month. Are we being scammed? How do we get out of this?

    PLEASE HELP!
